4 Days From Marrakech to Fez Via Merzouga Desert
ITINERARY
Day 1: Marrakech - Ait benhaddou - Dades Gorge.
Transport , 7hrs , Dinner
Pick up you in Raid/Hotel towards Ouarzazate, through the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m) in the High Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colors’ and the Berber villages along the way between Marrakech and Ouarzazate, the doorway to the Sahara desert. You will visit the UNESCO world heritage site Ait Benhaddou. Kasbah is one of many locations served as a natural decoration for many movies which were shot in the area such as “Lawrence of Arabia and Jesus of Nazareth” Take a walk and cross the dried river to discover Enesco Heritage Ait benhaddou and dominate the Kasbahs once you get to the top of the hill. Afterwards, you will head directly to Ouarzazate, You will Continue to Skoura palm grove, then Valley of the Roses the centre of Moroccan roses and rose products. Continue via the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills to Dades gorge, carved over centuries by the Dades River. Overnight right in the Dades Gorge lined by the red and mauve rock overnight in heart of dades Gorge. 7hrs of journey
Day 2: Dades Gorge -Todra Gorge - Erg Chehbi.

Taking the road to second Gorge, via Berber villages of the Dades valley, Todra Gorge free time for a short visit along the canyons of about 300 m high, a preferred place by mountain climbers, Afterwards you will leave to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara desert and you will have time for lunch on the way before you arrive to Erfoud. Once you arrive to the hotel near by the dunes having a cup of meant tea, and then you will take a camel ride for 1h at the sunset to get to the oasis where the camp is located and see the sunset. Spend the night in nomadic tent under shooting stars. With Berber music sometimes, Have diner in the camp. 5hrs of journey
Day 3: Explore Merzouga and Relaxing

Today you’ll discovering the area, firstly visiting the Gnawa music family – originally slaves brought from Sudan, to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s also the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. Afterwards you’ll leave for Rissani – once called Sijilmassa and the meeting place for the salt caravans, coming from Timbuktu in Mali. Here you’ll walk through the souk, smelling the spices, vegetables and cloths all for local sale. After a pizza lunch in khamlia village, we’ll travel back to your Riad where your camel awaits you. After a glass of mint tea, and guided by an experienced camel man, after this experience you’ll go back to the hotel for relaxing and be ready for your next adventure day . 1hrs of journey
Day 4 : 469 km: Merzouga to Fez
Transport 8hrs , Breakfast
We drive towards Fes, we stop on the road to enjoy the panoramic views over the Ziz valley before we cross the High Atlas mountains again. We stop by a town called Midelt where we’ll have lunch. We pass Azrou then Ifrane and its huge cedar wood forest to see the monkeys. We continue to the legendary city of Fes. , we then Return back to Fez, Arrive in Fez by early evening about 5 pm, (approximately). 7hrs of journey,
