2 Days Fez to Marrakech via Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert Tour
ITINERARY
Day 01: Fez - Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi Camel Ride through the sund dunes , Desert Camp
- Transport (7 hrs) Dinner Start at 7 am, Pick up from hotel/raid. Drive to Merzouga. Then, we will stop at the monkey forest to see Barbary ape (Monkeys) leaping from higher trees branches plus a visit to local nomads live in a cave for mint tea with them to learn more about their way of life and have information about their culture and Morocco Berber history. After that, we will move together to Ifrane or as it is known “little Switzerland of Morocco” that is established by the French in 1930 to see the famous landmark, Stone Lion, Continue On your way to Midelt the apples fruit city town where we’ll have lunch at the local restaurant or picnic lunch outside of the city in the nature, On the afternoon, we will cross/pass TIZEN TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia to see the admiring views of Ziz Gorges, and Later on, stopping at Ziz valley to see the panoramic views and take pictures, continue to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud where we’ll have an option to visit to a local fossil craft workshop or skip it and Continue to Merzouga. On arrival, transfer to your hotel to store your luggage Your local Camel guide will be waiting for you to take you on camel to enjoy attractive sunset in nomad tents where you will have enjoyable dinner under starry sky, sweet and cool air in Morocco desert with a Berber show to watch a spectacular Moroccan show Berber folklore around a central fire pit where musicians banging drums, dance in special for you. Additionally, you’ll not just listen and dance you’ll also attempt to sing alone. Since the drums vibrating are very fabulous, You’ll enjoy a traditional Berber meal ″Berber tajine” and drinking mint tea . Overnight in desert tents.
Day 02: Erg Chebbi – Todra Gorge - Ait Ben Haddou , Marrakech or back to Fez
- Transport (9hrs) BreakfastThis morning after you’ll wake up early to enjoy the sunrise on the Sahara dunes, After that, ride a camel back to the hotel for delicious breakfast. Then, be ready for an amazing drive to Marrakech passing by Todra Gorges, Valley Todra, Kelaat Mgouna, Dades Valley, Sakoura, Ouarzazate. Stop for a quick picture of Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah , continue your trip crossing High Atlas Mountains, Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude) while enjoying superb views and Berber Villages on the way. Get back to Marrakech by 8PM .Overnight at the hotel/riad
