Journey to Imlil
Your day begins with pickup from your hotel or riad in Marrakech at 09:00 AM. Travel in a private vehicle through the winding roads of the Atlas foothills, enjoying scenic mountain views, valleys, and traditional Berber villages along the way. Upon arrival in Imlil, meet your experienced local mountain guide who will lead you through the park.
Hike through Toubkal Valley
The hike begins in the lush Toubkal Valley, passing through green fields adorned with apple, walnut, and cherry trees. As you ascend, the views of Adj Mountain (3,100 m), Aglzim Mountain (3,900 m), and Mount Toubkal (4,167 m) dominate the landscape. The route combines gentle pathways with moderate inclines, offering opportunities to observe traditional mountain life, terraced farms, and local wildlife.
Sidi Chamarouch Shrine
Along the trail, reach Sidi Chamarouch (2,315 m), a small village and holy shrine dedicated to a revered local saint. Pilgrims have visited this site for centuries, and it remains a spiritual and cultural landmark. While non-Muslim visitors cannot cross the bridge into the shrine, you can admire its unique architecture and take photos from outside.
Picnic Lunch
Enjoy a traditional picnic lunch by the river and a waterfall, served on Berber carpets. Your chef prepares fresh Moroccan dishes, allowing you to savor the flavors of the Atlas while surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. Return to Marrakech
