The trail climbs gradually through pine and juniper forests before reaching Tizi nโ€™Techt Pass (2,000 m) with views over the Imlil and Azzaden valleys. After a picnic lunch in Imi Nifri, descend into the lush Azzaden Valley, lined with terraced fields, walnut groves, and traditional villages.

Continue to the Cascade dโ€™Ighouliden, the most impressive waterfalls in the High Atlas, where water plunges down steep cliffs. Rest, take photos, and enjoy the refreshing mountain spray. After lunch near the cascades, continue a short way to Refuge Lepiney.

From here, breathtaking views open across the jagged ridges of the High Atlas and towards Mount Toubkal. The descent leads to the wide Mizane Valley and finally to Refuge Toubkal (3,200 m), the base camp for the summit.

At the top, enjoy panoramic views of the High Atlas, Anti-Atlas, Haouz plains, and even the Sahara Desert on clear days. After celebrating with photos, descend carefully back to Refuge Toubkal.

Continue down past terraced fields and mountain streams to Imlil (1,740 m), the main trekking hub of the High Atlas.
