Trip Overview

Depart Marrakech at 9:00 AM in a comfortable 4×4 with your experienced guide. Head first toward Takerkouste Lake, then continue to the Kik Plateau at around 1,800 m altitude. From here, enjoy panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains, and in winter, admire the snow-capped peaks creating a stunning backdrop.

Cross the mountains into the Asni Valley, traveling along scenic roads that pass through traditional Berber villages built from adobe and stone. Stop for an authentic cultural experience by visiting a Berber home, where you’ll enjoy mint tea with the local family.

Continue along a high-altitude track (around 2,000 m) to reach the Ourika Valley. Explore a bio-aromatic garden featuring medicinal plants traditionally used by the Berbers, and optionally visit the valley’s waterfalls. Enjoy a riverside lunch, and optionally visit a local handicraft cooperative to see Berber rugs, pottery, and jewelry.

Return to Marrakech by approximately 5:00 PM, completing a day rich in nature, culture, and authentic Berber experiences.
