    • Transfer 1.5 hrs (~65 km)
    • Trek 8 km / 4–5 hrs
    • Meals Lunch, Dinner

We depart Marrakech around 9:00 AM, winding through the stunning Mouly Brahim gorges, where terraced fields, small streams, and traditional Berber villages create a picturesque landscape. Along the way, enjoy the contrast of red-earth mountains, olive groves, and river valleys that mark the High Atlas foothills.

Arriving in Imlil (1750 m), the main trekking hub, you’ll see mule caravans, small guesthouses, and the bustle of local markets. The trek begins from here, following a scenic path 8 km up to Sidi Chamharouch (2315 m). This village, set beside a waterfall and stream, is a spiritual site with a Marabout shrine, historically significant and restricted to non-Muslims.

Stop for a picnic lunch while taking in views of Jbel Toubkal (4167 m), North Africa’s highest peak. The trail continues to Toubkal Refuge (3207 m), nestled among rugged peaks and alpine meadows. Dinner and overnight are in dormitory-style accommodation, with the mountain air and evening silence providing a serene setting.

Highlights: Scenic trekking, waterfalls, panoramic mountain views, introduction to Berber culture.

    Night · Toubkal Refuge (Dormitory).

    Day 2Summit Mount Toubkal

After an early 6:00 AM breakfast, the ascent to Mount Toubkal (4167 m) begins. The climb is steep but non-technical, passing alpine meadows, rocky ridges, and sparse shrubs adapted to high elevations. Trekking through this dramatic landscape, you’ll witness the play of light across the valleys and peaks.

The summit offers 360° panoramic views, including neighboring peaks, deep valleys, and terraced villages far below. It’s a moment for reflection and photography—the reward for your effort.

Descend via Ikkhibi Sud (South Cirque), a straightforward but scenic route, taking 2–3 hours back to the Refuge. Lunch is served with a backdrop of mountains and glaciers. The afternoon allows time for rest, light hiking, or photography, soaking in the alpine ambiance.

Highlights: Summit of North Africa’s highest peak, alpine flora, panoramic vistas, mountain culture.
