About The area!
Our clients can either spend the night in Marrakesh, and we offer a private transportation to pick up from Marrakech around 9am, and take the journey for 1,5hrs to the Ouirgane (Wirgane) valley area where there are many options for accommodations. Also available in the Ouirgane area are hiking/walking/trekking, mule riding, and mountain biking.
Explore the mud and stone Berber houses of Ouirgane Valley and the surrounding villages with the different colors of the earth. You will ride through lush green forests of pine, juniper, and oak trees as well as olive orchards and visit the traditional Berber salt mine. And you’ll be enjoying your lunch with a local Berber family’s home in the middle of the 3/4 hrs ride. The hillsides are always green and you can ride to the nearby dam to see the reservoir of Ouirgane. Ouirgane Valley has some of the most beautiful horseback riding in Morocco; you will surely enjoy High Atlas mountains horseback riding adventure.
